When the fourth World Boxing Federation (WBF) World Convention takes place between November 7 and November 10 at the Parkhotel in Oberhausen, Germany, one of the special guests attending will be a history-making young lady from Slovenia.

Still only twenty years old, undefeated reigning WBF Womens World Middleweight and World Super Middleweight Champion Ema “The Princess” Kozin became the youngest WBF World Champion in history when she defeated Kenyan Florence Muthoni in October of 2017.

After two successful defences of the Middleweight crown, Kozin added the Super Middleweight World title this past March when she beat Finland´s Sanna Turunen, making her the youngest boxer to win two WBF titles, as well as the youngest to hold two simultaneously.

Having compiled a record of 17-0-1 (9) in a professional careers spanning just over three years, Kozin is well on her way to building a terrific legacy. As one of the most significant current WBF champions, her attendance at the convention is highly anticipated.

Ema Kozin is a special young fighter”, says WBF Executive Director Christian Rösen. “What she has accomplished so far, in such a short time and at such a young age, establishing herself as one of the very best in the world, is nothing short of amazing.”

We are very much looking forward to welcoming her at our convention, and also welcoming her team, including Mirco Scoco who is doing such a great job working not only with Kozin but also many other boxers who are or has potential to become champions, as well as her excellent trainer Rudolf Pavlin.”

Further plans for the upcoming World Boxing Federation (WBF) Convention in Oberhausen are set to be revealed in the coming weeks, including the traditional WBF Champions Boxing Night featuring several WBF title fights.
