WBF Women’s World Middleweight
Champion Christina Hammer
has recently received her
certificate of having passed her
Abitur (German university
entrance qualification) and now
considers studying sports
science.
The unbeaten (12-0) 21-year-old,
who has already made three
defences of her title, will
nevertheless continue in the
punching business.
“I’m the number one in the world
and want to keep on proving it
as long as possible. I’m looking
forward to many attractive
fights,” Hammer said.
After being released from prison
for good behaviour, WBF
Intercontinental Heavyweight
Champion Amir Mansour
wants to return to the ring as
soon as possible.
The 39-year-old has little time
to waste to build on his 16-0
(12 KO’s) record and said “I
want to thank my family, friends
and fans for standing at my side
during these hard times.”
Mansour was jailed last December
for failing to fulfil the
conditions of his probation, but
the WBF chose to support him and
not vacate his title.
